What we do

The KPA-PAC diversifies KPA’s advocacy efforts to include political giving as a mechanism to building stronger relationships with policy makers. These relationships ensure that legislators are able to hear information about our association, our skill sets, and our value in behavioral healthcare. Psychology is a non-partisan topic and requires advocacy with representatives across all parties. The KPA-PAC allows us to communicate that we are engaged in the decision-making process and to ensure that psychology’s interests have a seat at the table.
